Photo Editing Apps for Perfecting Your Selfie
In recent posts, we shared our top 20 tips for capturing the perfect Smiley (that's what we like to call a Selfie at Aspen Grove Dental) and followed-up with some unique photo spots in the Franklin and Nashville area to make your shots memorable. So, rounding out that series, it seemed appropriate that we should share a handful of our favorite photo editing apps. Any of these apps will do wonders for your Smiley and your "selfie-esteem."— just like your regular family visits to Aspen Grove Dental.
Your regular dentistry visits guarantee that you'll have glowing white teeth, but you may wish that one wrinkle or gray hair wasn't showing. This app gives you the means to quickly retouch your smiley portraits. It also has a nifty feature for adding eyeshadow, lipstick, and other makeup.
Photo creations literally pop off the screen when you start editing with this app. Just like its name says, PopAGraph creates an amazing 3D effect by allowing you to literally lift and highlight objects within your image. This is a free app from Apple, so this one is for the iPhone, only.
Want to add a little fantasy to your Smiley? Aviary, from Adobe, features the typical image enhancements, stickers, and frames. But what we like most is the Meme feature in Aviary which can really get the crowd talking.
This fun and FREE app runs your smileys into cartoon character sketches. Add a mustache, and even animated gif stickers to create whimsical portraits that will put a smile on anyone's face. Momentcam is available for both Android and iOS.
If you love filters, Mextures is the app for you. It lets you save an unlimited number of filter layers. Combine that with tons of super-cool grainy, vintage and textures to make even the simplest smiley magazine-worthy.
