Franklin TN Family-Friendly Dentistry
Making sure your family is happy and healthy are top priorities for you, and keeping them smiling brightly is a big part of it. That’s why it’s so important that you make the right choice in dental providers. Making sure your family is happy and healthy are top priorities for you, and keeping them smiling brightly is a big part of it. That’s why it’s so important that you make the right choice in dental providers.
But the decision isn’t one you want to take lightly so you want to understand your options. Specialized dentistry aside, you can choose among general dentists, family dentists and pediatric dentists for your primary oral health needs. There is some overlap but there are also some (we think) very important differences.
That’s why, when Dr. Joe Trammell took over Aspen Grove Dental almost 30 years ago, he established it as a family dental practice. Dr. Trammell knew he wanted to be an integral part of the Franklin community and build the kind of lasting relationships the define close families.
“Family means knowing, caring for and trusting relationships,” said Dr. Trammell. “I consider every person who walks through our doors to be family. And nothing is more important to me than my family.”
That’s why, at Aspen Grove Dental, the term “family dentistry” has a deeper meaning.
Take a moment to talk to some of the people in the waiting room on your visit and you’re likely to find a patient whose family has been cared for by Aspen Grove Dental for more than one or two generations.
Dr. Ryan Roberts is an excellent example. He became part of the Aspen Grove Dental family in middle school. The staff took such an interest in him that he earned his degree in dentistry and recently assumed a new AGD family role as the most recent dentist to join the practice.
For the staff at Aspen Grove Dental, caring for families extends beyond those they see every to families who rarely have the opportunity to see a dentist. This past June, Dr. Hutchinson’s family visited a community in Guatemala to provide dental services.
Our goal is to serve our families and keep them smiling. To help you make your best choice, here are some additional benefits to having a family dentist.
Convenience
Families come in all sizes and ages. Finding a provider that can meet the dental needs of all your family members in one place can save you time and hassle.Trust — We think we’ve pretty much covered this above, but, we wanted to point out a few important considerations for families with young children. Those first dental visits can be intimidating, but when you bring your child to a place they’re familiar with to see people who welcome you, they are more likely to trust that place and have a better experience.
Education
It’s important to find a dentist that takes the time to answer all your questions. Family dentists, like us, focus on putting patient education at the forefront.
Comprehensive Care
Family practices often offer the broadest range of services. At Aspen Grove Dental we pride ourselves in offering - among other services - no-pain dentistry, same-day crowns, sedation dentistry, and emergency services that complement regular cleaning and maintenance.
We hope that our actions to support and include families in our lives are enough to convince you that we’re sincere about providing the best care for everyone in your family. If you have any question, we’re happy to answer them.
