Aspen Grove Dental Joins Franklin Hockey Fans in Cheering On the Nashville Predators
Nashvillians may not like the snow but we sure do like our ice. Especially when hockey is involved. Franklin hockey fans, joined hundreds of diehard supporters, to do our part in helping our Nashville Predators rise in league standings from a dismal 27th place in 2012-2013 to 6th last season. This season, we’re aiming to break all our attendance record by topping the 2014-15 franchise record 30 sell-outs!
Our staff was surprised to learn that we’re hockey fans. We told them, "Are you kidding? Every dentist is a fan of hockey!" LOL
The NHL has even given a nod to our hockey mania, naming Nashville host of the 2016 NHL All-Star Game which will take place at the end of January.
It’s definitely a great time to be a hockey fan in Tennessee and we love being in on the action!
The Preds organization has deemed January “The Month of Awesome” and has invited all of Nashville to join in the celebration on ice. With three high school teams of our own in Williamson County (Ravenwood, Centennial, and Brentwood) we know plenty of our patients and their families will be joining in on the fun.

Bridgestone Winter Park
The Winter Park will feature a concert stage and family-focused activities. But we think the best part of the part is the outdoor skating rink. What better way to warm a smile and rose up those cheeks than with a few hours out in the crisp winter air on ice. Organizers are hosting numerous theme skating events or you can just go for a quick lap or two.
NHL Fan Fair
Starting Thursday, Jan. 28 through Sunday, Jan. 31, the Music City Center will be transformed into 250,000 square feet of interactive hockey fun. Get your picture taken with the Stanley Cup, test your skills in the NHL All-Star Skills Zone and meet the legends. Young kids will also love the McDonald’s Kids Zone and the chance to create personalized hockey trading cards. For history buffs, a collection of rare hockey memorabilia will also be on display at the fair.
The Game of the Year
Three of our own – defensemen Shea Weber and Roman Josi and goaltender Pekka Rinne - have all been honored as 2016 All-Stars by the League, marking the first time in franchise history the Preds will have a hat-trick of All-Stars initially selected to skate in an NHL All-Star Game.Season ticket holders have first rights to purchase tickets to All-Star Game on January 31 but you may still be able to get in on the action by visiting the official ticketing site.
