Here’s a partial list of local venues to try out when the sun’s going down and you’re ready for a pleasant night in front of the bandshell. Friends of Warner Parks Full Moon Pickin’ Parties

These laid-back, family-friendly fundraisers feature Middle Tennessee’s finest bluegrass music under the light of a full moon. Musicians and music lovers alike are invited to enjoy this beloved Nashville tradition in one of its most beautiful settings: Warner Parks. Bluegrass and roots pickers jam in circles under the trees and around the grounds, while three headlining acts perform on the main stage. There is an admissions fee but, all funds raised go directly toward protecting the Warner Parks and funding special programs for park-goers of all ages!

The Eddy Arnold Amphitheatre at Crockett Park reminds us of the Sydney Opera House but with much more contemporary music coming out! This concert series has something for every musical taste and the large lawn area and nearby playground make it a perfect venue for all ages. The venue will again be featuring the Kadillacs and displaying fireworks for the Fourth of July.

The Spring Hill Pickin’ in the Park is in its 5th season. Pickin' in the Park is a monthly outdoor, family-friendly event featuring local musicians and songwriters in and around the Spring Hill community.

Right next door to residents on the west side of Brentwood and Franklin is Bellevue, TN. It’s the hometown of a quaint little park right off Highway 70S where summer music has been a tradition for nearly 15 years. The enclosed playground makes it an especially convenient area for families with small children.
