Franklin - Brentwood Dentists Share Amazing Local Venue's for a Valentine's Day to Remember
Showing love and appreciation for a special someone on Valentine’s Day often includes an indulgent box of chocolates or candy treats. Americans spend $1.6 billion on candy for this one special occasion. Chocolate is always on the list for our wives but the main event is a rare couple’s night out curated by some of the best chefs in Franklin or Brentwood. Here are a few of our tried and true favorites we think will create a Valentine’s Day filled with quiet romance, shared smiles and beautiful new memories.
Jason McConnell elevated dining in Franklin in 2006 when he opened Red Pony Restaurant. While Red Pony is now a catering venture, McConnell has continued to elevate Franklin’s food scene; most recently with 55 South in the middle of Franklin’s historic district.
In 2011 he opened the historic 1905 McConnell House just off historic Main Street. The venue caters to private parties where Red Pony Catering serves up southern elegance with a modern edge. It’s a marked departure from 1905 when the venue served as Franklin’s first jail.
The venue also affords McConnell the opportunity to curate his own special events which shouldn’t be missed. This year he’s teamed up with the Andre Lurton Winery to bring you and your sweetheart a reservations-only four-course dinner on Friday, February 13.
WHAT: Red Pony Catering and The Andre Lurton Winery bring you a four-course dinner at McConnell House in Downtown Franklin.

Located in the historic Factory at Franklin this bluesy restaurant and bar combine locally-grown produce, indigenous flavors, and exotic ingredients to deliver creative cuisine that will make you instantly fall in love with the place.
For Valentine’s Day, Saffire is featuring a special prix fixe menu by Chef de Cuisine, Jason La Iacona and Executive Chef Matt Farley that starts with a chef’s selection of oysters and includes meat seafood and vegetarian options. We’re counting on their Chocolate Whoopie Pie with brown butter filling, macerated cherries, toffee and ganache to satisfy our wives’ insatiable desire for chocolate.
